 SYSTEM OF PULLEYS INTRODUCTION

The Past days thousands of labor had to be arranged whenever a heavy load had to be lifted or dragged. Even to day, many people have to be arranged to lift a motor car. So that its tyres can be changed. In order to overcome such difficulties, a few simple machine were invented,  which could save the man power. The system of the pulleys can be used to lift the heavy loads by applying the small efforts.

DEFINITION OF MACHINE:

The machine means contrivance that transmit motion or force from one point to another point. It is a device that converts energy in one form in to another form.

In this machine we deal with lifting machines only where in a given loan (w) is lifted by applying a considerable little effort (p). Thus pulley inclined planes lever, screw jack, wheel and axel etc, are comes under this machines.
